The Generalized Anxiety Disorder scale (GAD-7) is one of the most widely used questionnaires for assessing anxiety symptoms. It focuses on manifestations such as excessive worry, nervousness, restlessness, irritability and difficulty relaxing.

The test is designed for self-completion and provides an indicative assessment of the severity of anxiety complaints. It can be used repeatedly to monitor changes over time. The test result does not constitute a medical diagnosis and does not replace consultation with a specialist.

If sadness or a loss of interest in things you used to enjoy is also part of what you're experiencing, our depression test may help.
